What it holds
Creative Cloud can contain editable artwork, image projects and other production assets. Many working files and linked resources remain on company devices rather than in Adobe-managed storage.
Where Adobe Creative Cloud shows the size
- Sign in to the organization’s Adobe Admin Console with storage-management access.
- Open Storage and record consumed storage in GB, distinguishing it from allocated and available capacity.
- Generate the user-folder storage report and inspect Storage > Inactive Users. Measure relevant local/shared folders separately and avoid counting synced duplicates twice.
Plan and admin role. The storage administration tools apply to teams and enterprise subscriptions. Use an administrator account authorized to manage organization storage.
Exporting the full history
- For departed users, open Storage > Inactive Users and transfer retained folder contents to a designated user.
- Have that user download the compressed archive from the emailed link.
- Ask active users to download their cloud files to a controlled shared location, then copy those files together with server and local project folders.
When removing users, choose immediate or deferred transfer if their assets must survive. Permanent deletion cannot be reversed.
Confirm archive coverage with Adobe support for the organization’s storage configuration; a transfer archive should not be assumed to preserve every asset type or historical state.
Preserve linked project resources and folder relationships when collecting local creative files.
