Finding and exporting your Canva data
Canva does not document a team-wide storage counter for this workflow. Use the owner’s bulk download of uploads and designs as a measurable GB archive.

What it holds
Canva teams hold presentations, marketing layouts, videos and other designs alongside uploaded media and fonts. Downloaded designs are rendered deliverables rather than a guaranteed editable reconstruction of the online workspace.
Where Canva shows the size
- On desktop, sign in as the owner of the relevant team.
- Request the bulk download of personal data, uploads and designs through Canva’s download-data workflow.
- Allow 24–72 hours for preparation, download the ZIP within 14 days and measure its size in GB. Repeat for other teams if needed.
Plan and admin role. Only the team owner can bulk-download team uploads and designs, and the workflow is desktop-only. Some bulk/compressed download options depend on Pro, Teams, Business, Education or Nonprofit eligibility.
Exporting the full history
- As the team owner on desktop, request the bulk uploads-and-designs download.
- Save the ZIP from the supplied link before its 14-day expiry.
- If preparation exceeds 72 hours, contact Canva through Help Assistant.
Design output can be PDF, JPG, PNG, MP4 or GIF; files may be split by design or page depending on format. Uploaded images, videos and fonts retain their original file formats.
Do not treat rendered design exports as a complete backup of edit history or team collaboration.
Menu labels can vary; use the current account download-data workflow to request the archive.
You don't need to run an export to talk to us, and there's no need to clean it first — removing personal data is part of our work.
