Finding and exporting your Deel data

What it holds

Deel contains worker profiles and people-history records across supported employment arrangements. Subscribed features may add payroll, time tracking and leave information, all subject to workforce-data protections.

Where Deel shows the size

1. Use a role authorised for Analytics across every required entity and worker type; ask the Org admin if Analytics is missing.
2. Open Analytics > Reports and run People Summary with the broadest appropriate worker filters.
3. Run People History and applicable Time Tracking Summary or Time Off Summary reports over the full period; record distinct people and activity rows separately.

Plan and admin role. Analytics visibility follows the role, entity scope and subscribed products. SFTP setup requires administrator access and suitable infrastructure permissions.

Exporting the full history

1. In Analytics > Reports, choose the report’s three-dot menu > Export, or open the report and download CSV or Excel.
2. From the People dashboard, use View Details on a card and download its detailed CSV where needed.
3. For approved recurring delivery, add SFTP Integration in the App Store and select Connection type > Export data from Deel to your tool for each entity.

Reports support CSV, PDF or Excel, but some templates allow filters without field customisation.

SFTP requires an SFTP server and allowlisting Deel IP addresses; configure each entity separately and verify scope.

Only record counts are needed for a data inventory. Individual HR files, salaries, bank details, tax identifiers and identity documents are excluded from licensing; any internal preservation archive must remain private and access-controlled.

You don't need to run an export to talk to us, and there's no need to clean it first — removing personal data is part of our work.
