Finding and exporting your Gorgias data

What it holds
Gorgias tickets combine customer requests with agent responses and ticket attributes. The application also holds internal notes and event history, but those are not included in its described exports.
Where Gorgias shows the size
- As an owner, admin or lead, open Inbox and select a view covering all relevant tickets.
- Select all tickets, open the three-dot menu, and choose Export tickets.
- Count data rows in the emailed CSV, excluding the header. Split larger collections into non-overlapping groups because each export is limited to one million tickets.
Plan and admin role. Inbox ticket exports are available on every Helpdesk plan to owners, admins and leads. Analytics drill-downs can be viewed by all roles.
Exporting the full history
- Save an Inbox ticket export for metadata such as IDs, subjects, tags, assignment and custom fields.
- For recent public text, open an Analytics metric drill-down and choose Export > Export with message content.
- Ask Gorgias support for a custom historical message export when broader coverage is needed; retrieve export links within 14 days.
Message-content exports include only the latest 30 days of the chosen period and at most 100,000 tickets.
Internal notes, ticket events, social posts and Instagram media are excluded from the described exports; confirm any custom delivery’s scope with support.
A million-ticket export may take approximately ten hours.
You don't need to run an export to talk to us, and there's no need to clean it first — removing personal data is part of our work.
