Finding and exporting your Sage Intacct data
Sage Intacct report exports provide a practical record estimate. Keep ledger lines and invoice counts distinct rather than treating overlapping reports as additional records.

What it holds
Sage Intacct holds general ledger entries, receivables, payables and related financial dimensions. Depending on enabled applications, it also contains purchasing and other operational transactions.
Where Sage Intacct shows the size
- In Reports center, run a detailed ledger or invoice report over all retained dates.
- Use the output dropdown beside Print to choose CSV or Excel, then select Go.
- Count detail rows, excluding headings and totals, and record each non-overlapping record type separately.
Plan and admin role. User permissions control accessible reports and objects. Ask the company administrator to confirm cross-entity coverage and Data Delivery Service permissions and subscription requirements.
Exporting the full history
- Have an administrator configure an approved cloud-storage destination.
- Open Company > Setup > Data Delivery Service and select the required objects with all-record extraction.
- Run the delivery and retrieve each object CSV from that storage destination.
Data Delivery Service delivers files to configured cloud storage rather than directly to the browser; later deliveries can be incremental.
Smaller report or list exports offer formats such as CSV, Excel, Word and text. Confirm product entitlement and object coverage with the administrator or implementation partner.
You don't need to run an export to talk to us, and there's no need to clean it first — removing personal data is part of our work.
