Selling company data from Latin America
Updated October 2026
Many Latin American companies work in English every day: nearshore software firms, development agencies, support centres and teams serving US and European clients. Their internal records can be licensed for AI training, just like those of companies in the US or UK.
Who qualifies today
- Software and nearshore development companies with long code and ticket histories
- Support and customer-service operations with internal English-language documentation
- Companies with 25 or more employees and three or more years of records
- Internal communication mainly in English
What about Spanish and Portuguese?
Demand for non-English business data is growing as AI companies expand into more languages, but today buyers pay most for English-language records. Spanish or Portuguese archives may still qualify. We assess them case by case.
Watch out for client-owned data
Outsourcing and agency work often happens inside client systems or on client-owned material. That data belongs to your clients and is excluded unless they agree. Your own internal communication, processes, tools and code you own are what can be licensed.
Privacy
Personal details are removed or anonymised before any transfer, in line with local data-protection laws such as Brazil's LGPD and Mexico's data-protection law. Companies should take their own local advice.
FAQ
Do you work with companies outside the US and Europe?
Yes. What matters most is the size, history, language and ownership of the records.
Our team is spread across several countries. Is that a problem?
No. Many of the most interesting archives come from distributed teams.
